Amber Griffiths

Amber Griffiths is a freelance artist from South-West Wales, and runs a company called 'Gem Artwork' that specialises in bespoke Funky and Fantasy art, for both individuals and businesses.

She says about herself

"I was born a short distance from, and have spent most of my life on or around the beautiful Preseli mountains, in Pembrokeshire. Legend has it that these magical mountains are a gateway to another realm. Whether that is a fact or myth I have found that having the foothills of these awesome mountains as my back garden absolutely breath-taking and inspiring. My environment cleanses my soul, and helps me to approach each new project with a fresh, new and inspired energy".

Fairies are a trademark of Amber's work, and followers of her art recognise the style of her fairies instantly. "Whenever I pick up my pencils to sketch, a fairy never seems to be far away. It's the cheeky fairies that manifest themselves most often on my paper... that may be because the naughtiest fairies are always a pleasure to draw, and their little faces make me giggle as they gradually make their way into our realm".
